CPM Courses

CPM currently runs twenty-one management and leadership development courses, each delivered as a residential program that is open to participants from all government departments and agencies and other related organisations. CPM programs are divided into three distinct streams.

1

Foundation Management & Leadership Courses

CPM's foundation programs provide an integrated and holistic overview of the role of managers and leaders in the APS. Programs are run on a regular basis and are open to participants from government departments and agencies, ranging from APS4 to EL2.
2

Dimensions of Leadership Courses

CPM's dimensions programs Programs for EL1 and EL2 managers seeking to pursue key dimensions of public sector leadership in greater depth. Programs are run on a regular basis and are open to EL1 & EL2 participants from government departments and agencies.
3

Specialist Courses

CPM's delivers series of focused specialist programs addressing specific areas of development or interest for public sector managers. Programs are run several times a year and are open to participants from government departments and agencies, ranging from APS5 to SES.

In addition, all of the above leadership courses (or derivatives of them) can be run as 'in-house' residential programs. In such situations they can be tailored to meet specific departmental or agency requirements. Please contact CPM for further information.

A range of CPM courses were previously run in association with the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC).

A course evaluation booklet is available, which details course evaluation summaries for CPM's three principal residential leadership programs held in late-2006.
