and bringing others with you
'Leading Change: and bringing others with you' is a two-day Canberra-based program run at the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) training facilities at 14 Childers Street in the city.
The program is designed for APS6 and Executive Level 1 and 2 staff (and equivalents).
Designed to develop participants skills in leading change, it covers a range of skills - from choosing the most appropriate type and style of change, consultative processes, planning implementation, announcing change and dealing with resistance.
The course is presented and led by Kerry Juknaitis,
Successfully bringing about significant changes in direction or strategy involves more than just changing policies and procedures, it requires changes in paradigms about the role of government, organisational culture, and attitudes and behaviours throughout the organisation. This is a leadership task, not just a logistical one and is at the heart of the implementation challenge.
Further information is available by downloading the two-page course flyer, which provides additional details about the program (Adobe PDF).
