Influencing Skills in Leadership

How to change minds

'Influencing Skills in Leadership: how to change minds' is a two-day Canberra-based program run at the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) training facilities at 14 Childers Street in the city. The program is designed for APS6 and Executive Level 1 staff (and equivalents).

This workshop looks at the skills for influence from a range of perspectives - how to make quick and persuasive pitches to your manager, making persuasuive presentations to groups of all types, and planning more strategic approaches to influencing a range of parties on a specific issue.

Program Leader

Program Leaders

The program is presented by Kerry Juknaitis,

It will focus on the bigger picture of influencing - what are the different approaches to influencing. If you have to build support for a project, who should you approach and why, and how should you present the issue to build their support.
