Specialist Courses
CPM delivers six specialist courses that cover specific areas of personal development or interest, such as facilitation and change management. These are run over two days either in Canberra or as a residential at Bowral.

Influencing Skills in Leadership
A two-day residential for APS6 and EL1 - presented by Kerry Juknaitis
This workshop looks at the skills for influence from a range of perspectives –how to make quick and persuasive pitches to your manager, making persuasive presentations to groups, and planning more strategic approaches.

Executive Impact
A two-day residential for EL1, EL2 and SES - presented by Dianne van Meegen
This workshop addresses areas which make the difference between being just 'present' or being seen as a serious player in top team conversations. It will also be useful for those whose voice is sometimes over-exposed in Executive Impact settings.

Negotiation Skills
A two-day Canberra-based program for EL1 and EL2 - presented by Rod Morrison
This workshop will provide you with practical skills and techniques to effectively influence positive negotiation outcomes. Build an understanding of principled negotiation techniques and understand how to effect sustainable workplace change.

A two-day Canberra-based program for APS5 and APS6 - presented by Kerry Juknaitis
Designed to help participants develop skills in supporting strategic direction, this workshop covers how to analyse and understand the work context; how to think more creatively and strategically; and how to draw conclusions and solve problems

Making Change Work
A two-day Canberra-based program for APS6 to EL2 - presented by Kerry Juknaitis
Designed to develop participants' skills in leading change, it covers a range of skills - from choosing the most appropriate type and style of change, consultative processes, planning implementation, announcing change and dealing with resistance.
In addition, all of the above leadership courses (or derivatives of them) can be run as 'in-house' residential programs. In such situations they can be tailored to meet specific departmental or agency requirements. Please contact CPM for further information.
